Italian Exhibition Group and Hannover Fairs International GMBH (HFI) sign a partnership agreement for the development of the industry
Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) and Hannover Fairs International GmbH (HFI), the Italian branch of Deutsche Messe AG, have signed a partnership agreement for the joint organisation of a new Hydrogen Exhibition supported by Hydrogen & Fuel Cells. The exhibition will be held within the framework of KEY – The Energy Transition EXPO, IEG’s event on energy transition and efficiency, the next edition of which is scheduled to take place at the Rimini Fair from 5 to 7 March 2025.
“We are proud to announce a new joint venture with a highly relevant and experienced partner such as Hannover Fairs International GmbH, which from the next edition of KEY will allow us to further strengthen the presence of hydrogen within our event, with an entirely dedicated exhibition, destined to become a point of reference at international level,” commented Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG. The very name of the Hydrogen Expo indicates the Italian-German partnership. Hydrogen & Fuel Cells is in fact a reference to Hydrogen & Fuel Cells EUROPE, an event organised and managed by Deutsche Messe AG, the large German trade fair company, one of the world’s leading trade fair companies.
According to the Italian Exhibition Group and Hannover Fairs International GmbH, the aim of the new Hydrogen Fair is to highlight the crucial role of hydrogen in reducing pollutant emissions and to contribute to accelerating the development of the sector. The aim of the fair is to promote hydrogen’s crucial role in the reduction of polluting emissions and contribute to accelerating the development of the sector, in particular for the decarbonisation of the hard-to-reduce industrial production and transport sectors.
