A Chilean Delegation with more than 50 organizations is expected.

For the third consecutive year, Chile will be very present during the World Hydrogen Summit (WHS) in Rotterdam, from May 13-15, 2024.

In addition to having a stand in the exhibition area, together with the Netherlands, several events on Latin America and Chile will be organized. This WHS is co-organized by the government of the Netherlands, through the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the province of Zuid Holland, the city of Rotterdam and the Port of Rotterdam. The summit is expected to be attended by 15,000 people.

In the morning there will be a Latin American level event with presentations by the Special Climate Envoy, HRH Prince Jaime de Bourbon Parme, a panel discussion led by the IDB and a matchmaking session between interested Latin American projects and Dutch organizations, focusing on implementation and value chain support.

In the afternoon we will have a special session on Chile, which will be attended by Mr. Rob Jetten, Minister of Climate of the Netherlands, Mr. José Miguel Benavente, Executive Vice President of Corfo and Mr. Jaime Moscoso, Ambassador of Chile to the Netherlands. We will have presentations from GIZ on the TEI program, there will be a memorandum of understanding signing event between H2Chile and NLHydrogen and we will have 4 discussion groups, talking about relevant topics for the international value chain. Afterwards there will be a networking session at the Chilean and Dutch stands.

This event is possible thanks to the support of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Partners for International Business (PIB) program “Green Corridor Chile – Netherlands”, ProChile (both in Chile and the Netherlands) and the Embassy of Chile in the Netherlands. After the World Hydrogen Summit, a small delegation will visit the Hynorth hydrogen valley in the north-east of the Netherlands.
